Acceptance and negation

Hi, Today is women’s day. Everyone will start wishing now that cliché’ wish “Happy women’s day “ . Its so simple to wish anything just add happy in front of the event and your job is done. Happy birthday, happy new year...Just on the television or open a newspaper today you will find many women related articles explaining her qualities that she is the one who is a mother, a wife , a sister, a friend. Articles about pain women has taken all over the centuries and how she has overcome that and now she has proved to the world that she had a place in this male dominated society.

Yesterday I was watching a channel in that a promo came of some award function where all the actresses, social workers ( all women ) were shouting “ proud to be women “ ! That’s ridiculous! When you are born nature doesn’t ask you what you want to become man or women. There is no choice! So if you are women so that’s not a choice. We all are human beings correct? The only thing I don’t understand why there is need to celebrate a women’s day? We all respect each other, we all understand each other and nobody is denying the efforts and qualities of women. Why we want to take on all cliché’ topics on this day? That women gives birth to a child, takes all the pain , but that’s nature! Science can’t change that.

If women is independent or is working in a big firm why that is called a big achievement? She is a human being with good brain and getting reward for the her qualities simple! If you debate on that many women in rural areas are suppressed and not given any opportunity to grow, you are correct. Ask those women that do they know about women’s day? So for whom we are celebrating this day.

Search for women icons and first name you will get is Sushmita sen or shoba de ,Our woman icons these days : sushmita sen: What an icon! She is not a scientist, she is not a teacher, she has not done anything worth full for human civilization, then what she has done? She was a miss universe ( o great ! )she has done some social work which first comes on Bombay times, she has adopted a girl child and proudly announced she will live her life on her own terms! Okay how nice it may sound but subconsciously you all think is that correct to live life on your terms? Even a dog on the road lives a life on his own terms that’s why he is called as animal. Today if someone says that he/she is not bothered about anybody and lives life in his own term then we appreciate that. Sacrifice, understanding, empathy, adjustment all these are dictionary words forget it.

Why the financial independent is the barometer of women’s success? May be that’s the only barometer left today. Let’s accept the fact that man and women both are made by nature and there must reason for that. Both the species have different roles to play. There is no competition going out there. There is nothing to be proud of . We all are programmed to behave and act in certain manner. There is no need to celebrate days to say someone that you are special, we have enough borders to divide human species on basis of religion, caste, race, blood groups , colour. Buy celebrating a women’s day we are spreading a message that women is something different and we have to give her respect. Is same as by increasing the number of reservation seats in school, colleges, government hospitals we are glorifying cast system nothing else. The more you differentiate the more chaos it will make. Man and women both are part of this nature, they were and they will be…
