What is Software Development Life Cycle

SDLC is an acronym for Software Development Life Cycle or  System Development Life Cycle.
There are Five common types of approach

Waterfall model, Incremental Model, Spiral model, Prototyping model and Win-Win Spiral Model.
For simple projects use Waterfall model, for complex projects you can use Win-Win spiral
For larger projects it is advisable to use Spiral and Incremental model, were you can divide projects into modules.
